Every Wednesday at an elementary school in Louisville, Kentucky, dozens of men are waiting to greet, high-five and cheer on all the students.
They call themselves the Flash Dads, a group of volunteers who's aim is to boost confidence and provide a positive male presence in young kids lives.
Earlier this year, the Flash Dads made an appearance at Rutherford Elementary School, where students were cheered on by firefighters, fraternity members, and of course dads.
"It gives the kid just a wonderful start to their day," said Dr. Kenya Natsis, principal at Rutherford Elementary. "They're ready to learn, they're excited because they see people from outside the community just taking such a wonderful interest in them."
The Flash Dads started seven years ago, and the program continues to grow.
