A new 15,000-square-foot education and training center has opened on the historic Westside of Las Vegas through a partnership between the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) and the City of Las Vegas. This center is designed to provide credentialed programs in advanced manufacturing, healthcare, technology and construction trades.
The facility, funded in part by the U.S. Economic Development Administration and other state and federal grants, aims to serve residents of an area with higher unemployment by offering pathways into high-demand, high-wage industries — including short-term training, adult education, and ESL courses.
City officials say the center signals a larger commitment to revitalizing the Westside neighborhood and building a workforce pipeline that aligns training with local employer needs — promising both individual advancement and broader community economic growth.
