Nevada Child Seekers is working with Red Rock Search and Rescue to advocate for missing children in Las Vegas during September! Volunteers of the organizations passed out flyers in the streets of Las Vegas with missing children from Nevada.
Efforts as simple as handing out flyers can help crack missing children's cases dated from 1970 to 2025! Nevada Child Seekers Volunteer Coordinator Heather Doto explains that Las Vegas police enforcement prioritizes cases that are endangered, and Nevada Child Seekers as well as Red Rock Search and Rescue are here for the rest that fall through the cracks.
Executive director of Nevada Child Seekers, Margarite Edwards explains, "Our favorite memories are when a child comes home. We've had some of our missing child cases, the child is on the streets, and they saw a flyer with their face, and they said, 'Oh my gosh, I didn't know anybody cared about us,' and they've come home."
