A local Las Vegas mother, Roni Lowery, turned her heartbreak into advocacy after losing her 24-year-old son, Justin, to suicide. In response to her loss, she co-founded the J&J Foundation to promote youth mental health awareness and suicide prevention. The foundation is named after Justin and aims to provide education, resources, and support for families and students facing mental health challenges.
Through school programs, community outreach, and partnerships, the J&J Foundation works to break the stigma surrounding mental illness and ensure no child feels alone in their struggle. Roni's mission is fueled by her son’s memory and a commitment to creating lasting change, reminding the community that even in deep grief, hope and healing are possible. The foundation is putting together a gala in October. To get tickets click HERE.
