The City of Las Vegas just announced that they will bring more crossing guards to various Middle & High Schools for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year! On Wednesday, at the City Council Meeting, funding was approved to send more cross guards to all 16 middle schools and three high schools with a cross-guard program!
In previous years, Las Vegas only funded cross-guards at all elementary schools, but ever since the community raised concern over traffic-safety around our schools there has been more calls to add crossing guards to Middle & High Schools across the valley.
Parents are excited about the changes coming to our schools and will continue to advocate for crossing-guards at all schools!
