A six-year old boy from Las Vegas is preparing for the trip of a lifetime as he heads to Dubai, thanks to Make-A-Wish Nevada.
Lucas So-Ortiz was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer in November 2024. Since then, he's spent a lot of time in the hospital, receiving and recovering from chemotherapy treatments.
To make those stays a little more enjoyable, Lucas found comfort in building with Legos, constructing replicas of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai.
Inspired by his love of architecture, it was no surprise that when given the opportunity to make a wish, Lucas chose a trip to Dubai
His trip will be packed with adventure, including camel rides and immersive cultural experiences.
The reveal took place at a special event on last Thursday, July 10.
