The Athletics organization announced a ceremonial groundbreaking at the future location of the ballpark.
With locals gaining excitement of the addition of another professional sports team coming to Las Vegas this is the next step in the process of relocating the Oakland Athletics to Las Vegas.
After the four year process from The Athletics searching for a home outside Oakland in 2021 to the ceremony being held at the former location of the Tropicana at 8 a.m. on June 23rd this marks the official construction of their Las Vegas ballpark.
