Three Square Food Bank and DoorDash are working together to deliver free meals to local homebound seniors.
So far, the organization has given away over 500,000 meals. This initiative is made possible thanks to the volunteers who pack thousands of meals each month.
Dashers not only helped deliver food, but also made connections with the seniors. Sharon Simmons, said "There are a lot of times when they want to talk and it’s great to listen to them."
