SSOTD: How You Can Save Money on Furniture While Helping Out the Community

A local store is helping shoppers save money on furniture while also giving back to the community.

Habitat for Humanity's ReStore offers budget-friendly options for furniture, home decor, appliances, and so much more! While some items are gently used, many are brand new.

From $300 sofas to $35 lights, there's something for every budget. Right now, the store is offering an additional 50% off everything!

Angela Phillips, executive director of Habitat for Humanity shares, "You can get a couch for $50. It truly is affordable."

But this isn't just about saving money, it's about making a difference in our community. Every ReStore purchase supports Habitat for Humanity's mission to build safe and affordable housing in Southern Nevada.

"When someone comes in, I want them to know by making that purchase, they're helping build more homes," said Ashley Burney, director of resource development & communications. "There's still so much work to do."

The organization is currently working on its 124th home in the Las Vegas valley.
