St. Jude's Ranch for Children celebrated their grand opening of the nation's FIRST residential campus dedicated to children who are victims of sex trafficking.
This newly built campus features a neighborhood-style layout with six one-story homes, each containing four to six bedrooms. The Campus will also contain a school, therapy offices, a yoga and meditation room, and outdoor areas that promote healing through nature. The facility is staffed around the clock by trained specialists that accommodate up to 62 residents.
Dr. Christina Vela, CEO of St. Jude's Ranch for Children says, "We are excited to show our community what we have put together." She explains that the purpose of the center is to make children feel at home during their year stay.
