United Way of Southern Nevada announced their 17th Annual Women Suit Drive!
Beginning October 1st, donors can drop off gently used business suits, dresses, hospital scrubs, shoes, and accessories to various locations across the valley.
This impactful event brings together female leaders across Southern Nevada to empower women that are returning to the workplace. The items donated during this event will go to women in return-to-work programs at local non-profits to prepare for job interviews, achieve financial stability, and enter the workforce.
Those interested in volunteering can do so by attending the Women United Suit Drive Sip & Sort on Wednesday, November 6th from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the United Way of Southern Nevada located at 5830 W. Flamingo Rd. Volunteers will enjoy champagne, music, and fun as they prepare and organize the collected items for distribution!
On November 20th, guests are invited to attend the Women United Suit Drive Breakfast at the Las Vegas Country Club to celebrate the success of the Suit Drive! Guests can connect with community members and supporters of Womens United members. Tickets start at $65 and can be purchased here.
Donations will be accepted starting October 1st through November 4th.
