The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation announced a future youth facility for the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada.
Shaquille O'Neal was alongside Las Vegas leaders and dignitaries on Wednesday to announce the facility.
It will be located in the northeast side of the valley and will benefit nonprofits.
Officials also said that the facility will help K-12 youth with the "academic, social, emotional, recreational, and tech resources needed for youth development."
Additionally, "The multi-million-dollar project will span over 17,000 square feet and house the country's first-ever CIS Alumni Center," officials said.
After the facility unveiling, select students will participate in a "Shaq-to-School" event. There students will receive custom "Shaq-packs" filled with school supplies for the upcoming school year.
