A new food and music festival is coming to downtown later this year.
The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority approved a sponsorship of the event, called the Neon City Festival. The free festival is scheduled from November 22-24, coinciding with the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend.
The founder of the festival is the owner of Circa Resort and the D Las Vegas, Derek Stevens. Jeff Victor, the Vice President of the D was also named the CEO of the festival.
Festival organizers said, "The festival will feature a large sprawling footprint, headliner talent, diverse food and beverage offerings, and more." Organizers also said that they are eager to reveal more details in the coming weeks.
