Katie Grimes, a Las Vegas native is headed to Paris, France, for the 2024 Olympics. She will be competing in three races for Team USA, the 1500-meter freestyle, 400-meter individual medley, and the 10-kilometer open water swimming event. The open-water swimming event is supposed to occur in the Seine River, but the question is will the river be clean in time? This will be Grimes's second time competing in the Olympics. Her first time was in Toyko 4 years ago. Grimes is sponsored by Nevada State Bank, and they are letting people from all over the valley "Send a postcard to Paris" in support of Grimes.
