Local organization, Catholic Charities, celebrates 83 years of service in a major way.
On Tuesday, the nonprofit continued their "Feed Vegas" meal initiative and fed over 600 families inside the St Vincent Lied Dining Hall.
Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada has been helping our community since 1941. They operate the largest Meals on Wheels program and Emergency Shelter Services in the valley. They also operate 16 programs and support over 4,500 people daily. Their goal is to, "give help and hope to people in need regardless of race, religion or creed."
