Illuminarium Las Vegas is offering amazing new shows in recognition of Autism Acceptance Month. Illuminarium is offering sensory-inclusive shows throughout April. On April 6, 7, and 28, starting at 10 a.m., there will be modifications made to the immersive experience in order to ensure comfort for all guests. On April 6, guests will be able to take an adventure through the galaxy during SPACE: A Journey to the Moon and Beyond. Here, guests can see Saturn’s rings close up and flying through the technicolor nebula. On April 7 and 28, guests will be able to come face-to-face with some of the most exotic animals in WILD: A Safari Experience. The state-of-the-art venue’s technology has been designed to help lessen sensory overload and accommodate those with sensory needs. What this includes is the removal of the floor lights and content, lowered volume in the experience rooms and lobby, haptic floor reduction, and increased experience lighting. There will also be designated quiet rooms that will be set up all throughout the venue. The Illuminarium will have sensory bags for guests upon request. These sensory bags, which were provided by KultureCity, contain multiple fidget tools, headphones, and an ID card that alerts staff to the guest's sensory needs. Tickets cost $35 for adults and $30 for children. The sensory-inclusive mornings start at 10 a.m. and last 45 minutes.
