On Friday, September 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the Salvation Army is hosting a free health fair for Veterans. At the health fair, there will be a presentation from the American Heart Association. Along with the presentation, there will also be tables set up providing health resources and services for Veterans. These services and resources by the American Heart Association, will include free blood pressure cuffs, hearing tests, glucose checks, dermatology, and nutritionists. The Salvation Army of Southern Nevada works very hard to care for Veterans who struggle with fundamental life skills, unemployment, homelessness, and chemical dependency. The Salvation Army is committed to helping those who have served our nation. The Veterans Health Fair is a great opportunity for Veterans to get the health services and resources they need.
