First Friday of July is coming up, and this month is dedicated to honoring our veterans.
According to the First Friday Foundation, there will be a pin ceremony for local heroes by the Southern Nevada Veteran Advocacy Program and Forgotten Not Gone, both non-profit veterans organizations.
First Friday will have music, interactive murals, and live paintings featured by 60 local artists.
There will also be a variety of food trucks, including a planet-based plaza that recently opened in June. "This area hosts plant-based food tents and trucks, live mural painting, Girl Scout activities for families, nutritional education and fresh farm foods," officials from First Friday said.
July's First Friday will be from 5pm to 11pm on July 7. The pinning ceremony will take place at 7pm.
