This summer, Blue Man Group will perform sensory-friendly shows in four cities across the country.
Las Vegas, along with Boston, Chicago, and New York will offer modified versions of their show that everyone can enjoy. Since 2014, Blue Man Group has been offering sensory-friendly shows to make it more suitable for adults and children on the spectrum.
Modifications will include a reduction in sound and lighting, limited interaction with the audience, and quiet spaces outside of the theater. Earplugs and headphones will also be available upon request. Although lighting will be less intense, Blue Man Group notes that strobe lights will still be included.
A portion of tickets sold will go to benefit the partner organization of each city. Las Vegas is partnering with Grant A Gift Autism Foundation.
The sensory-friendly show in Las Vegas will be Saturday, June 17 at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased here!
