Prom is one of the most memorable nights in high school, and a local organization is making sure every student is able to attend.
This Saturday, The Girls Group will be providing free prom dresses and suits to high school students in need. The annual event entitled 'Just In Time' helps students who otherwise may not attend prom because they can't afford a prom dress or tuxedo. "Every high school senior and/or junior wants to attend their prom. But some students, unfortunately, have to give up their plan to go to prom because they cannot afford prom attire," says The Girls Group.
The Girls Group will also be providing hairstylists, barbers and makeup artists to assist prom-goers.
Proof of financial aid isn't necessary, but they do ask students bring a valid school ID or proof of enrollment. It's noted that all items will either be new or slightly used.
Just In Time will be this Saturday, March 18 from 11am to 4pm at the Pearson Center in North Las Vegas.
