The Silver Knights are hosting their second annual “Lucky Launch” teddy bear toss at the Dollar Loan Center on December 3 at 7pm against the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Fans are encouraged to bring brand new stuffed animals to throw on the ice when their team scores their first goal.
Stuffed animals will be donated to charities such as: Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, and Equality Center.
The Silver Knights will also be wearing holiday jerseys that will be signed and available for auction starting at 5:45pm – 9:00pm. Fans can bid for the jerseys at LuckyLaunch.givesmart.com OR by texting "LuckyLaunch" to 76278.
There will be other activities before the game on Saturday, December 3 such as: face painting, interactive games and inflatables, a live DJ, meet and greet with Santa, and food and beverage specials at the Bell Solar Tiltyard. Bring the whole family for this holiday event to give back.
If there are fans who will not be able to attend the game, but still would like to donate there will be bins set up at the following locations from November 22 through December 2:
