Netflix is suing the songwriters behind the Unofficial Bridgerton Musical.
Originally, the musical started out online for free and Netflix supported it.
Now, they have become 'for profit' and sold out two shows at the Kennedy Center at a price of $149 a ticket.
In a statement Netflix said they support fan generated content and they have tried to work with the creators of the unofficial musical.
They have refused to cooperate. The creators, cast, writers and crew have poured their hearts and souls into Bridgerton and we're taking action to protect their rights.
