The comedy musical Tootsie tells the story of Michael Dorsey, an actor who is infamous for being difficult to work with. Desperate for work, Michael tries a new approach to land acting jobs: dressing up as a woman. He quickly learns that being a woman in show business, specifically in Broadway, is not easy.
While this journey humbles Michael and tests his morals and character, there are a lot of hysterical moments along the way as he finds himself in an interesting love triangle. His friend Jeff is Michael's witty and sarcastic voice of reason. Personally, he was my favorite character of the show, especially during the opening of Act II. (Be prepared to laugh!)
Please note that this show is recommended for ages 12+ because of adult situations and strong language. However, it is perfect for date night and any groups of friends that want to do something different for Memorial Day Weekend.
