Three Square Food Bank has announced that the food distribution at Eastside Cannery (5255 Boulder Highway) has been extended through November.
The site will be open at 9 a.m. every Friday through November 19. However, it will be closed on Friday, November 26, for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Three Square Food Bank's mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. Since 2007, they have been serving the Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda, and Clark Counties of Nevada. They work with a service network of community partners (this includes nonprofit and faith-based organizations, schools, and after-school and feeding sites) to reach struggling individuals and families at risk of hunger.
Distribution locations and times are subject to change daily. During holidays and holiday weekends, distribution sites operated by Three Square will be closed. Prior to visiting a distribution site, walk-in pantry, or meal site, please refer to the list/map on their website for locations and hours of operation.
