This past September, Three Square Food Bank received nearly $295,000 from Southern Nevada community members for Hunger Action Month. This dollar amount will provide 884,262 meals to families in Southern Nevada, as for every dollar donated, the non-profit can provide three meals to those facing food insecurity. According to Three Square President and CEO Brian Burton, this is over $95,000 more than they received last year, and will triple the number of meals Three Square will be able to provide.

"As this community continues to heal from the events of the past 18 months, it is so heartwarming to see how people continue to show up for their neighbors in need," Burton states. Food insecurity numbers remain above pre-pandemic levels, and now Three Square can use these donations to provide meals to the 364,000 Las Vegas residents (including 131,000 children) that don't know where their next meal is coming from.
