"Grammy-nominated DJ Diplo will headline a new experience coming to Las Vegas next year for graduating high school seniors.
Called "The Official Grad Trip," the four-night experience will be held as an exclusive event for the graduating class of 2022 and their parents.
Loren Gray and Madi Monroe will also perform, according to a publicist, with more entertainers to be announced soon.
The event will be held in privately reserved venues around Las Vegas, including Thomas & Mack Center, Brooklyn Bowl, AREA15 and Wet'n'Wild.
Graduates and their parents would have separate curated itineraries.
Co-founders Zach Samson and Andrew Citores say "Grad Trip" is a way for the class of 2022 to celebrate graduating post-pandemic, while also giving parents a trip as well. They also hope the event will introduce grads to Las Vegas, "a destination we hope they enjoy visiting for the rest of their lives."
"Las Vegas may seem an unlikely choice for a high school graduation trip, but it is exactly the type of experience high school graduates and their parents are craving," Citores said in a press release.
"Grad Trip" is planned for June 2022.
Graduate travel packages start at $899 and come with accommodations for four nights and entry to six events. Parent packages are $499 each and include accommodations, pool days and private events as well." (KSNV News3)
