'Notes for Notes' Music Studio Opens at Henderson Boys & Girls Club

Notes for Notes™ is a non-profit organization that designs, equips, and staffs after-school recording studios inside Boys & Girls Clubs offering youth the opportunity to explore, create, and record music for FREE. N4N Studios are packed with professional instruments – guitars, basses, drums, keyboards/synths – and equipment – DJ gear, digital music workstations – and full recording facilities. Beyond providing access to equipment and resources, we educate youth about careers both on the stage and behind the scenes.

Notes for Notes was founded on the core belief that music is the universal language of humankind, with the power to transcend virtually any cultural, racial, or socioeconomic barrier. At the heart of the organization is a dedication to the relationships formed through music. N4N makes a point NOT to censor lyrics as it is the freedom of expression and respect for the creativity of others that drives an open environment in the studio. Music inspires connection and collaboration, and it is through these relationships that we can make the most impact. Learn more about how it all started at our History.

The newest Notes for Notes studio opened its doors Sunday here in Nevada. The studio, housed at the Henderson Boys and Girls Club, will help provide explore, create, and record music at no charge. It's being operated by "Panic! At The Disco" star Brendon Urie, a Vegas local, who said he wanted to bring music back to the place he grew up.
