A trip out of town took a disastrous turn Saturday night for a soon-to-be-married couple.
Fire Crews responded around 6:30 p.m. to a garage fire at a residence in the area of Boulder Highway and Magic Way.
The house received some major damage, but some important items were luckily saved from the flames.
According to a witness, the residents of the home are getting married in less than a week, and in their home, the couple had the wedding dress and the wedding rings all ready for the big day.
While crews fought the garage fire, firefighters were able to enter the main residence and save the dress and rings.
HFD says that there were no injuries and that the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
