The Las Vegas Desert Dogs are teaming up with Cure 4 The Kids Foundation to give nine patients the opportunity to join the newly established lacrosse team.
Nine patients will be joining the Desert Dogs as honorary team captains on December 15 against the Saskatchewan Rush. The kids will be signed two-day contracts, and will be the first ones to run out of the tunnel on game day. They will also be featured in a video introduction.
"This is the kind of experience our patients are not going to forget," said Annette Logan-Parker, CEO and Founder of Cure 4 The Kids Foundation. "So many of our patients have not had the chance to see a Las Vegas Desert Dogs game, let alone become team captains where they have a front-row seat to the excitement and strength that comes from the Power of the Pack team's camaraderie."
The game will be at 7pm, December 15 at Michelob Ultra Arena inside the Mandalay Bay. Purchase tickets here!
