More than a decade into his career, mgk likely has no shortage of interesting run-ins with his fans but one "gnarly" interaction stands out among the rest.
During a recent interview hosted at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, the Lost Americana singer recalled the time he was stopped by a fan while attempting to leave a gig in Europe. However, rather than speaking to him face to face, the fan lay in front of their bus and refused to move, per People.
"In Europe, [...] this fan was, like, 'I didn't get enough time with you in the show.' And so he laid in front of the bus," mgk said, revealing that they had to take extraordinary measures to get him out of the way. "And we were like, 'Bro, you got to move.' He inched closer to the wheel. He was like, 'I'm not moving, bro.' And my boy [...] picked him up and put him in a flower pot. His head's in a flower pot; his legs are sticking out the flower pot."
Surprisingly, that didn't keep the determined fan from trying to get more time with mgk.
"We get back in the bus, we're like, 'That was gnarly,' [Then] the bus driver's like, 'He's in front of the wheels again,'" he said, adding, "He wanted more time, which was sweet."
The "Lonely Road" musician, who recently teased big plans for the rest of the year, is getting ready to hit the road to tour his latest album Lost Americana. The tour kicks off in November.
