Kate Hudson has one piece of advice for her fellow mothers.

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress recently appeared on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast and shared what she believes is a vital parenting technique with moms across the globe.

"Let your kids go [as they get older]. Let them f***king go. Don’t hold on, don’t expect anything of them. When they start getting older, it’s like, 'no'. You’ll never hold onto them. And the second you hold on too tight, it’s going to drive them nuts. They’re going to run. I really think that."

Hudson assured that no matter how long a child goes without contacting their mother, they'll eventually call because they "need you."

"Let them go and enjoy their life. Let them be for a bit. What you realize is, you might go a week and they’re not going to call you. But when they do, and they need you."

The Fabletics founder, who shares son Ryder, 21, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, son Bingham, 13, with ex Matt Bellamy, and daughter Rani Rose, 6, with fiancé Danny Fujikawa, per Page Six, revealed that she calls her mom, Goldie Hawn, at least two times a day to chat.

In a March interview with Kelce, Hudson stressed the importance of taking accountability as a parent and realizing where you went wrong in teaching a lesson.

"I became combative with my 13-year-old … where is that gonna go? But it happens all the time as a parent. When you walk away from it, you can recognize where you might’ve created more of a problem than you did a lesson. The importance of being able to tell your kids that you could do better, I could’ve handled that situation better, actually models much more for them than being stubborn and saying, 'No, I can’t admit that I was wrong.'"
