The American Heart Association is working with the National Football League to spread the education of hands-on CPR to schools and teachers across the Nation in a movement called, "Nation of Lifesavers."
Nancy Brown, the chief executive officer of the American Heart Association described that the incentives provided by the NFL will help, "students to engage with and complete the Hands-Only CPR module – expanding the knowledge base to their family members of how to respond in a cardiac emergency." With the help of the NFL, they can reach more schools to teach students, teachers, and families this lifesaving skill.
Because of the movement, Mountain View Elementary was among the National winners of an NFL $10,000 school gym equipment makeover!
