Performing in front a massive crowd could cause nerves in even the most seasoned musician but likely more so for a teenager — even when their mom is a pop star.

P!NK recently hit the stage at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago and brought her 13-year-old daughter Willow along for the performance. The teen joined her mom on stage August 22 prior to Vice President Kamala Harris accepting her presidential nomination to sing P!NK's 2017 song "What About Us," per People.

The 44-year-old TRUSTFALL singer took to her Instagram on Tuesday (August 27) to share photos from recent shows on her Summer Carnival Tour and included a sweet video from behind the scenes at the DNC giving her daughter a pep talk and hyping her up right before the big performance.

"Just do your thing. Whatever you don't sing, I will," P!NK can be heard reassuring the teen, before adding, "It's going to be brilliant, OK? I'll be ready."

She cheekily captioned the post, "It's been a busy few weeks 😮‍💨😎"

P!NK wasn't the only artist who had notable performances during the DNC. John Legend and Stevie Wonder both had epic sets during the convention, while Lil Jon made a surprise appearance during the roll call.
