iHeart and Audible are hosting a Listening Party to promote Audible’s new singing competition series, Breakthrough, and its winner, Mitch Clark.
The series is a first of its kind audio-only contest where emerging artists are mentored by Kelly Rowland and Sara Bareilles in songwriting, singing and producing to kickstart their career.
The listening party will happen at Mama Rabbit at Park MGM on Thursday, September 21st. Guests will hear a Q&A with Audible’s Breakthrough winner and Amy Brown, followed by an intimate, country, acoustic performance from the Breakthrough winner. The first 35 people to arrive will have the chance to score last chance tickets to the iHeartRadio Music Festival September 22nd and 23rd at T-Mobile Arena.
Spots at the event are limited and reservations are being taken now!
Breakthrough is a new Audible Original and is the first-ever audio-only singing competition series. The show features celebrity judges Kelly Rowland and Sara Bareilles, with host Daveed Digs.
Five undiscovered musicians battle through high-stakes singing and songwriting challenges for one top spot. As musically gifted as they are artistically unique, each finalist is driven by the same dream: to become music’s next must-listen.
To break through, contestants have to dig deep, pushing their vocal, songwriting and recording chops to their limits while keeping their feet and emotions firmly grounded.

This year's winner is Mitch Clark, a talented singer-songwriter in Nashville, TN, by-way of the picturesque town of Floyd, Virginia, whose soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics have captivated audiences across the country. Known for his unique blend of Americana, folk, and country, and soul influences, Mitch's music weaves a tapestry of stories and emotions that resonate with listeners of all ages.
With a childhood dream of being in the golf industry, Mitch had a guitar placed in his hands while in college, for golf! But, the obsession set in and he began teaching himself to sing and play in his dorm room, on campus, and at local coffee shop open mics, and then soon found himself traveling the country playing shows in bars, restaurants, colleges and universities, at private parties, weddings, you name it.
Over time, a mixed sound of blues eyed soul and modern country has come to life.
In 2017, Mitch moved to Nashville, TN, and dove into the songwriting world, as well as the local music scene. After years of writing songs, playing shows on the road, and raising his little girl Avalyn, he plans to finally record and release some of these soon, so be on the lookout!
