Inaugural Season of Tao Beach Club is a Success

Dayclub season is officially over! It’s been a hot summer filled with pool parties, bottle service, and house music. Ayu Dayclub at Resorts World had a successful second season with residencies like Tiesto and Jack Harlow. Encore Beach Club at The Wynn continues to be a locals favorite, hosting world renowned DJ’s like Kygo, Diplo, and The Chainsmokers. But the talk of the town this season has been the reopening of Tao Beach Dayclub. Almost three years in the making, Tao Beach held their grand opening earlier this year. And it was absolutely worth the wait. The star-studded event included performances by Fisher, Lil Jon, and Kaskade. Model, Kendall Jenner made an appearance promoting her tequila brand. Even cast members of Euphoria and Breaking Bad were there, including none other than Walter White himself. The grand opening was just the beginning, as Tao Beach had an incredibly successful inaugural season. The reopening has been a full circle moment for Tao Group, and it signifies a new era in the Las Vegas dayclub scene.

Opening in 2007, Tao Beach has remained an iconic venue in Las Vegas nightlife. Regarded as one of the first dayclubs on the Strip, Tao Beach was a pioneer for the current dayclub scene. The original 18,000 sq ft space was the party destination for celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Jay-Z. The European-inspired dayclub was adjacent to the main pool at the Venetian Resort. But over the years, the space proved to be too small and too inconvenient of a location, especially as more dayclubs began to open. While Calvin Harris was booking gigs at Omnia, and Prince Harry was partying it up at Wet Republic, Tao Beach became timeworn.

In 2019, Tao Group announced they would be renovating the decade old dayclub, moving to a new location and doubling in size. Nearly three years and $50 million later, Tao Beach held its grand reopening on April 1st, 2022.

Located at the same entrance as Tao Nightclub, the new venue sits on the rooftop of the Venetian. A steep escalator takes you to the 47,000 sq ft space, and as the vibration of the music becomes more intense, you’re transported to a Bali-inspired oasis. The dayclub features over 20 cabanas, seven private pools, and incredible artwork by Daniel Popper. Standing 15 feet tall, Daniel Popper’s Tendai is the focal point of Tao Beach. Originating from the Zimbabwean name, Tendai means to “give thanks to God.” The sculpture, which sits below the main bar is meant to greet and bless guests. She also makes a great photo backdrop. Throughout the season, Tao Beach held performances by Tyga, Illenium and Flo Rida, making it one of the most musically diverse clubs in the city. For their closing weekend, Chris Lake and Ludacris performed. It’s safe to say the revamp of Tao Beach has been a success, and it will be exciting to see what's in store for their second season!

Tao Beach Dayclub will reopen in the Spring of 2023!
