LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Nevada SPCA is excited to announce the return of its 6th Annual Neon Dog Walk presented by Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas on Saturday, October 17, at Silverado Ranch Park (9855 Gillespie St., Las Vegas). One of the organization's signature fundraising events, the Neon Dog Walk brings together animal lovers, families, and their four-legged companions for an afternoon of fun, community, and philanthropy in support of Southern Nevada's original no-kill animal shelter.
Event gates and registration open at 3:00 p.m., the walk begins at 4:00 p.m., and festivities continue through 7:00 p.m.
Participants are invited to wear their brightest neon attire and enjoy a colorful walk while raising critical funds to support Nevada SPCA's lifesaving programs. Every dollar raised helps provide shelter, medical care, enrichment, and adoption services for thousands of homeless pets each year, while also supporting community programs that help keep pets with the families who love them through the organization's pet food pantry, low-cost microchip clinics, and medical assistance initiatives.
"Our Neon Dog Walk has become one of our favorite community traditions because it celebrates the incredible bond between people and their pets while directly helping animals in need," said Lori Heeren, Executive Director of Nevada SPCA. "As a local, independent nonprofit, we rely entirely on the generosity of our community. This year's goal is to raise more than $125,000 to provide lifesaving care for homeless animals and vital support services for pet owners throughout Southern Nevada."
Event Highlights:
Neon Dog Walk
Participants and their canine companions will enjoy a fun, neon-themed walk through Silverado Ranch Park. Every registered participant will receive a commemorative 2026 Neon Dog Walk T-shirt and a wag bag (while supplies last).
Neon Village
The celebration continues with live DJ, entertainment, doggie stage contests and prizes, food and beverage vendors, a craft beer, wine, and cocktail garden, dozens of pet-friendly vendors, interactive activities, and more. Neon Village is open to the public.
Registration
Registration is $35 per person, and children 12 and under are free. Participants may register individually or create and join fundraising teams.

For the safety of all attendees, dogs must be friendly, current on vaccinations, and remain on a leash throughout the event.
