Las Vegas Raiders kicker, Daniel Carlson, made an appearance at the 20th Raising Cane's Grand Opening Celebration in the valley.
The new restaurant is located at 231 E Fremont St. south of Charleston Boulevard.
Local organization, Communities in Schools, and Carlson joined the Grand Opening festivities with giveaways and a performance by Fremont Middle School's Mariachi Azul.
During the event, Carlson accepted a $2,500 donation check that benefits Clark County School District Title 1 schools. Communities in Schools also donated 20 holiday gifts to deserving students.
