The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation began their annual initiative to help provide 500 meals to families in need.
The initiative is in partnership with Naqvi Injury Law, Walmart, and other community partners.
The goal is to take away financial stress during the holidays and to encourage community outreach.
The LVMPD packed 500 meals to give away to families struggling with food insecurity.
They plan on delivering the meals to an apartment complex in the Southeast Area Command.
