One Kind Act A Day, an organization in Utah, is spreading kindness in a unique way to the prison community.
The organization is teaching classes about kindness. Not only do they have lessons about kindness to others, but more importantly, kindness to themselves.
Classes are held weekly and are taught by Curtis Bennett and his son Mason. Even though classes are optional, there is generally a good crowd of people that attend.
Some inmates come from a challenging upbringing, so these classes help them understand what kindness means and how they can build connections with others.
Inmates also expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to better themselves.
