Q: If you were talking to yourself on the first day you started your career, what would be the piece of advice you would give yourself on that first day?

A: Take the time to learn and observe in your new role but trust your opinions and use your voice to speak up, and do it even earlier than you feel comfortable. Use your seat at the table to help others and work to exceed expectations.

Q: What is a quote or saying you live by, and why?

A: I tell my four kids, “do good and be good.” I even had it printed on a mat for the front door too so they see it when they are coming and going, in the crossroads of their lives. I want them to be the best version of themselves, and make sure they are looking for opportunities to help others and make the world a little better. It applies to my career as well - we have to do well in business to be able to do good in the community. Which reminds me of a quote I like: “Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.” – Alice Morse Earle

Q: How do you “shine” in your career/field in a unique market like Las Vegas?

A: I am lucky to work for an organization that listens to our ideas and suggestions – because of that, I am able to bring a community focused approach to my role as Chief Marketing Officer at CCCU, and help our employees volunteer with our nonprofit partners. I'm proud to be part of a company that has a positive work environment, a great reputation with our CCCU members in the community and the impact we create through our CCCU Cares program, which allows us to give back to the community we live and work in by assisting local charities throughout the year.
