A potential merger is happening between two of the largest grocery store chains in the country, Kroger and Albertsons.
The grocery giants released a list of 579 stores the companies intend to sell, should a merger be approved.
The list includes 16 stores in Nevada, 14 of them being in the Las Vegas valley.
According to Bloomberg, Kroger has started notifying employees of affected locations that they will become employees of C&S Wholesale Grocers after the merger closes.
Albertson's also emphasizes that no frontline workers would lose their positions, and they would continue to honor union contracts.
