Kristen Anderson, a single mother of four in Florida, works as a restaurant server at Chili’s six days a week to support her family. She was going through tough times, unable to pay her bills. But her luck changed when she served a group of 25 high school students. They struck up a conversation with Kristen, and decided to help her out, with a $300 tip. She was so overwhelmed by their gesture and posted about it on Facebook. The response was amazing, as total strangers stepped up and helped as well, offering to pay for her utilities. Recently, Kristen visited the high school to reunite with the students who truly impacted her life. She hopes that this story is able to inspire more people to be kind. Sophia Krueger a student at the high school said "We did something other than performing for our school. We did something for the community, and it makes me really proud,". Remember to always be kind to the people around you as you never know what someone is going through.
