VGK Announce Dates For 2019 Rookie Camp, Training Camp & Preseason Games

VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS ANNOUNCE KEY DATES FOR 2019 ROOKIE CAMP, TRAINING CAMP AND NHL PRESEASON GAMES
All preseason games to be televised locally on KTNV Channel 13 in Las Vegas; fans in attendance for each home game will receive a collectible bobblehead featuring different Golden Knights players
VEGAS (June 18, 2019) – TheVegas Golden Knights announced today, June 18, the club’s official seven-game 2019 preseason schedule, which will begin on Sunday, September 15 against the Arizona Coyotes at T-Mobile Arena. All seven preseason games will be broadcast locally by KTNV Channel 13 in Las Vegas. Dave Goucher will provide the play-by-play call with Shane Hnidy providing analysis and KTNV will produce half hour pregame specials before each game as well. KTNV is owned by The E. W. Scripps Company and is an affiliate of ABC.
“We are extremely excited that our fans in the Las Vegas Valley will be able to watch all seven of our preseason games this year thanks to our agreement with KTNV Channel 13, the local ABC affiliate in Las Vegas,” said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. “The team’s success in the first two seasons has driven up the demand for our team’s coverage, which includes preseason contests. We are proud to be one of the few organizations in the NHL to televise all of the team’s preseason games.”
“KTNV’s partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights represents the first time every preseason game will be available to our Southern Nevada community,” said Chris Way, KTNV’s vice president and general manager. “We are excited to continue the momentum around the Golden Knights with best in class pregame coverage from our team at KTNV, as part of our ongoing commitment to our audiences.”
Please note that all locally televised regular season Golden Knights games will continue to be exclusively aired on AT&T SportsNet. The regular season broadcast schedule will be announced at a later time.
Tickets for the four preseason home games are available now as part of a special Preseason Bobblehead Series package, which is available online at http://goldenknights.nhl.com/bobblehead.
Packages start at $240 and include a ticket to all four home games. Information on single game tickets for home preseason and regular season games will be announced at a later date.
Each preseason game at T-Mobile Arena will feature a different current player bobblehead giveaway and all fans in attendance will receive the complimentary bobblehead. When the series of bobbleheads are put together, a special message will be revealed. The name of the players participating in the bobblehead series will be announced at a later date.
In addition to the live television broadcast, all preseason games can be heard on Fox Sports Las Vegas 98.9 FM and 1340 AM. Dan D’Uva will have the play-by-play call while Gary Lawless will provide analysis. Every preseason home game can also be heard in Spanish on ESPN Deportes 1460 AM with Jesus Lopez serving as the team’s play-by-play voice and Herbert Castro providing analysis. In addition to being heard on the radio, fans can also use the Second Audio Program (SAP) function on their televisions to watch and hear the home preseason games in Spanish.
The team also announced the preliminary schedule for their 2019 Rookie Camp, which begins on Thursday, September 5, and their 2019 Training Camp, which begins Thursday, September 12. The full rookie camp rosters, training camp rosters, practice times and locations will be announced at a later date. Please note that the schedule is subject to change.
