The Holiday Experience at The Park will ring in the season with Vegas Golden Knights mascot Chance and Santa Claus at a tree-lighting ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 29. The fun-for-the-whole-family event will feature in-arena hosts Big D and Mark Shunock, a performance by the Golden Aces cheer squad and a raucous parade led by The Knight Line through The Park. After the tree is lit, visitors will rally for the home team at an official watch party on Toshiba Plaza.

Holiday cheer will fill the air in Toshiba Plaza at 5 p.m., where visitors can snack on complimentary hot chocolate and cookies while they groove to the DJ’s high-energy remixes of holiday classics. At 5:30 p.m., Shunock and Big D will take the stage as The Knight Line and game-day parade crew marches and drums their way to Toshiba Plaza through The Park. The fun-filled program will build to the big moment when Chance and Santa Claus, the men of the hour, lead the crowd in a countdown to the lighting of the stunning 80-foot holiday tree.

Afterward, Santa will stick around to take photos with families, selecting a spot in front of the sparkling tree for a festive backdrop. Visitors can bring blankets and lawn chairs for the watch party, as well as indulge in refreshments from around the neighborhood. From Nov. 29 throughout the month of December, several quaint cottages will sell a variety of treats that evoke a bustling European marketplace – including German-style sausages from The Park favorite Beerhaus; candy apples and s’mores at Bonanno’s Sweets & Treats; and a collection of warm winter cocktails for guests 21 and older, such as hot cocoa, mulled spiced wine and hot toddies. Additional refreshments will be available for purchase on Toshiba Plaza during the watch party.

The Holiday Experience at The Park will bring cheer to the neighborhood each Friday – Sunday in December as well as select special event days from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Guests can wander through the festively decked Park and pose for holiday snaps with Instagram-able installations, such as a towering "LOVE" sign and enormous ornaments glittering with lights. Free live entertainment will perform throughout the season, including R&B grooves from 4Front and doo-wop takes on holiday classics from The Beverly Belles. The Holiday Experience at The Park concludes on December 31.
