The first of several free workshops was recently hosted by the City of Henderson to educate minors about the importance of e-bike safety. In 2025, the number of e-bike-related incidents doubled compared to 2024, highlighting the need for increased awareness and education. The workshop provided essential information on traffic laws, staying aware of one’s surroundings, and safe riding practices. Attendees also received free safety materials, including bike helmets and lights. In addition, participants were taught the importance of following e-bike laws, such as adhering to the 20 mph speed limit and riding with traffic rather than against it. Officials also noted that parents may now be held responsible for fines if these laws are violated.
