Over the weekend, Southern Hills Hospital hosted a free science and robotics event for children.
The event featured hospital robots on display, giving kids of every age the chance to explore the technology up close.
Nick Johnson, CEO at Southern Hills Hospital says, "It's a chance for the public to come into our hospital and see what amazing technology that we've invested in."
New technology is allowing doctors to perform a range of procedures with greater precision, including total joint surgery, knee and hip surgeries, and spinal procedures.
Kids and families got a close-up look at robotics ysand emergency response technology Sunday during a free science and robotics event at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center.
Several public safety and medical response teams were also there, including the Clark County Fire Department, Community Ambulance, and AMR/Medicwest.
For younger students, the event included a teddy bear clinic where they could perform "surgery" while also learning about healthcare.
