Next month, the Las Vegas Ballpark will hosts its first-ever Foster Care Night in support of Foster Care Awareness Month.
The evening will be held in partnership with the Foster Care Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, May 23.
The ballpark is encouraging fans to donate to support young people in the foster care system. All donations will be collected starting at 5:30pm at the main entrance.
Requested items include hygiene essentials, backpacks, school supplies, gift cards, books, stuffed animals, and toys.
Complimentary tickets are being provided to foster youth to attend the game.
"Providing meaningful opportunities to support foster youth while giving these children an enjoyable evening of baseball and community is incredibly important to our organization," said Don Logan, president of the Las Vegas Aviators. "We are proud to partner with the Foster Care Chamber of Commerce to host the first-ever Foster Care Night at the Ballpark, and look forward to creating a memorable experience for these deserving youth."
Purchase tickets gofevo.com/event/Fostercare6, and a portion of proceeds will go to benefit the Foster Care Chamber of Commerce.
