Make-A-Wish Nevada has partnered with the Athletics organization to grant a wish for a local teen battling leukemia.
On Tuesday, 18-year old Dylan Sanchez was surprised with the news that he would be taking his dream trip to Hawaii.
The Athletics will be covering the cost of his trip through a donation to Make-A-Wish Nevada.
Dylan was diagnosed with leukemia in 2024. He is a former student at Palo Verde High School, though he is homeschooled now.
The teen remains positive and strives to be self-sufficient while undergoing weekly treatments.
Dylan is excited to scuba dive, snorkel and swim with sharks on his trip to Hawaii. He also wants to do the Jurassic Park experience at Kualoa Ranch.
