The event known as the Giving Machine is back in Las Vegas for the holiday season, offering residents a fresh and meaningful way to support both local and global causes. From November 12 to January 1, two machines—located at The District at Green Valley Ranch and Downtown Summerlin—allow donors to select “items” like baby bottles, eyeglasses, homeless‐veteran aid, food packages, and even livestock or community wells overseas.
In 2024, Southern Nevada residents gave nearly $600,000 worth of goods and services through the Giving Machine initiative, demonstrating strong local generosity. The machines partner with area nonprofits including Baby’s Bounty, Eye Care 4 Kids, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, Three Square and many others to deliver tangible support where it’s needed.
Since its debut in 2017, the Giving Machine program has enabled more than $44 million in donations globally—helping nonprofits provide hundreds of thousands of goods and services. For those looking to give this season, it offers a creative alternative to traditional cash donations and allows donors to see concrete impact—both nearby and abroad.
