A Californian entrepreneur, Haley Pavone, dropped by Durango High School this past Tuesday to convince girls at the school to #GetPashionate.
Pavone is the creator of Pashion Footwear, the world's first fully convertible heel-to-flat shoe.
Pashion Footwear plans to donate 300 pears of their convertible shoes to students from Nevada as well as to Jobs for Nevada Graduates (JNG).
Students at Durango High School were provided 25 pairs of Pashion Footwear shoes that the company hopes will help jump start their future career aspirations.
The remaining 275 pairs that the company plans to donate will be dispersed at later dates to the remaining High Schools participating in the initiative.
